A Factory Five Mk4 Cobra, because I’m weird . Yeah, a Ford V8 would be cheaper and make a lot more than 270hp, but the historic link between Ferrari and Shelby makes this a neat option imho . Ideally it’d be a Ferrari V12, but until one shows up again on BAT...

Works for me!
100% guaranteed to be sued by Ferrari moments after the first pic or vid hits the internet, but totally worth it.
I'd even put a deadmous wrap on it.

Well I think it’s got to be a light car. 270 HP and I presume about 9 ft lb of torque.
An Alfa GTV would be good too- on the condition that the original engine ventilated its block (it’s a glorious engine on its own)

For ultimate WTF points I want it in a Fiero with a Lamborghini body kit.

231 torques. In a 2200lb Cobra it would be quite scooty and sound pretty good.

The extra weird points would be worth it, esp at a C&C meet.

I’d be down with that, but Italy might take military action against us.
I’m willing to roll the dice if you are!

Yes - I think anything under 2700 lb would be okay. The lighter the better. Corvair or sixties Nova?

Does anyone remember the SHOgun?
I say that it’s time we did an update using one of today’s shittiest econoboxes, any one of these for slae today should do the trick
Or just use a Geo Metro. Bonus points for using a pink convertible.

X1/9. A Busso can be made to fit, and where an i4 and a V6 go a V8 should...

Meh. There’s no ‘fuck you’ element here, which the Cobra has going for it.

I still like the idea of putting a Ferrari engine in exactly the last car it belongs. As for what car that is, I think a Camry is a good option, or perhaps a P rius... Really, I think the best option is to put it in a Fiero, but others here already thought of that....

Style points for you here, but I’m sure there’s an even more wrong (wronger?) car for this motor.

I’ve long fantasized about stuffing a Hellcat engine or two in a Tesla, but I figure a Ferrari V8 would also be an excellent choice :p

Not sure how that would work seeing as there’s no existing engine mounts or trans tunnel. T he fabrication work would be a nightmare (where do ya put the tank?) But if some hero with a MIG welder ever took a shot at it and pulled it off he’d be worthy of worship.

Yeah, I figure by the end it’d essentially be a Tesla body on a custom tube chassis, but it’d still be epic. I think the biggest issue would probably be cooling, but I’ve seen some hot rodders build cars with the radiator in the back and louvers in the trunk lid to make cooling work, so I figure that could be done on a Tesla. Since this is a novelty car anyway, the rear seats might as well be removed and a fuel cell could be placed there or perhaps under/next to/near the radiator in the back if there’s room. Then you’d just need a massive supercharger or two sticking out the hood for good measure ;)
